4 Piece Medley: Tell Her No-Summertime-Improv-Doo Wah Diddy Diddy. Me fooling around with my recently restored (and beautiful) 1959 Hohner Cembalet I with valve preamp and wooden keys. Recorded live with no tweaking, effects, or editing (or rehearsing!). This is what it sounds like played in your living room-well at least mine! Delighted to hear it finally working.

3 Piece Medley: Sticks&Stones-54321-I'm Mad Again. Me fooling around with my recently restored (and beautiful) 1959 Hohner Cembalet I with valve preamp and wooden keys. As you can tell this is recorded live with no tweaking, effects, or editing. This is what it sounds like played in your living room! Just delighted to hear it finally working! I submitted this to provide fans of vintage keys and 1960's music a sampling of how this early electromechanical instrument sounded like.

This 1962 promo recording by the Magnet Quartet features Michel Ramos on the Hohner Cembalet I. The Hohner Cembalet was one of the first production electric piano's. Manufactured in Germany starting in 1958, the Cembalet was popular as a home instrument. By 1963, the instrument became increasingly popular with gigging musicians since it was one of the only portable (under arm) keyboards of its day.
